A great friend and pillar of our jiu-jitsu community, Todd Tanaka @toddtanakadotcom is in the fight of his life right now.

Todd was recently diagnosed with a rare, aggressive cancer in his bile duct, causing serious complications and changing everything for him and his family.

To support Todd, Phil Migliarese will be teaching his end-of-season gi masterclass at Balance Haddonfield this Saturday, April 11th, 2026, and donating 100% of his proceeds. We’re asking the jiu-jitsu community to step up and help as well.

If you’ve trained with us, you know what this community is about. We show up for each other.
